Officials say the new name - and some enhancements to their mHealth platform - will aid the company as it moves to help not only asthma patients, but those with COPD and other respiratory diseases better manage their conditions.
The Dallas-based company, which serves primarily large employers and health plans, is expanding its platform by acquiring Miami-based Consult A Doctor, whose niche is in smaller health plans, employers and healthcare providers.
The GSMA mHealth Grand Tour, which kicked off on September 5 in Brussels and concludes two weeks later in Barcelona, features teams of diabetic cyclists, who will monitor themselves with an array of mHealth tools and be part of a study on diabetes care and endurance athletes.
